No worries, I'm definitely not going to stop writing about my workouts and training, I'm just not going to be fanatical about creating a new journal entry for each and every single workout. It wasn't your input that caused me to decide to change formats... I was already on the verge of doing it. Your email just triggered the post which was already practically written in my head. I was getting a little weary of recording my workouts in both the running log I keep on RunningAhead.com and here in this journal, especially since I felt some pressure (self-imposed) to try to write something thoughtful about each and every single run.

I'm actually planning on migrating my website to my own URL soon - then I'll be able to link to the training log on RunningAhead.com and I won't be "double posting" daily running entries. That means the RSS feed for this blog won't update every time I post a run, but that's okay, I'll still write about interesting things that happen to me during particular workouts.

Hmm...I actually like the running posts. I think "is it interesting to the reader" is not really a relevant criteria for what gets posted on a personal blog. I visit this blog to read about whatever slice of your life you want to share and if running/fitness is the topic of the day, that's cool. If not, that's fine too. If posting the running logs helps you stay on track (your updates have helped and motivated my workouts) I say, don't be shy! Keep posting. If you want to focus the blog on productivity and gear, one workaround is to develop a sideblog (or a twitter) that would just post your running logs. I'm thinking of doing that for mine.
